Any media… Any industry… Outside the box is in the bag!
It’s hard to show years of experience, cognitive skills, interaction and team work in a few pages on the internet. What can be shown is that I’ve been lucky enough to work on some of the most recognizable brands in the world during my career. Along the way I’ve also been influenced by some of the most talented people in the industries I’ve worked in, each leaving their mark in my growth. My roots began at The University of North Texas: College of Visual Arts, where I found my passion and talent for visual design with emphasis on concept and clear communication. Before I was even out of the gates of UNT, I was creating a strong presence by establishing the identity for American IronHorse Motorcycle Company, which was one of the nation’s largest custom motorcycle manufacturers.
After college I refined my skills working at specialized branding firms that would yield creative opportunities, which are restricted at larger agencies. While at these firms I directly had experience in corporate branding and established the DNA for many clients in a variety of markets. Working with breakout companies RRR Group and Plan B, I helped develop unique approaches to branding, design and advertising for Tom-Tom Noodle House and Nikita Lounge. Also, I have headed the creation of complete branding identities for multiple upscale hotels nationwide, most notably Hotel Derek in Houston, Texas, which is featured in Condé Nast and Hip Hotels.
Most recently I’ve helped to establish the visual design, user interface and collateral elements for Microsoft’s HaloWars, with over 1 million units sold and a record setting 2m demo downloads on XboxLive. As well as previous work on Stuntman Ignition, Terminator 3: The Redemption and Mission Impossible: Operation Surma for Atari.
I get personal satisfaction exploring new stimulus and readapting to the evolving organic culture we live in.
